NY MUSIC MONTH CONCERT SERIES PRESENTS JOHNNY MAMBO & FRIENDS, JUNE 3rd, 2023 AT “52 PARK” IN THE BRONX
The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MEMO) and NYC Parks have teamed up again to present a series of concerts in Bronx and Queens parks to celebrate New York Music Month! Ranging from Caribbean music to Latin to R&B, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Concert will take place at 52 Park amphitheater with a large dance floor. Also known as 52 People for Progress, a community group led by Al Quiñones, got together in the ’80s and fixed up the park into a dynamic place for music, dance, and play. For over 30 years now they’ve produced a music festival that draws people from all around the world to see the best performances of Latin and jazz music.
On June 3rd, NY Music Concert Series Presents Johnny Mambo & Friends Featuring two talented Salsa Singers. Puerto Rican singer by the name of Gilberto Velazquez artistly known as Don Sonero & Ecuadorian Singer by the name of Danny Enrique. Both Gilberto and Danny have their solo projects. On this Afternoon Johnny Mambo & Friends will join forces with both singers to bring one amazing Salsa concert for New York City communities.
